Yes we do.
I'm dead keen to see what the kid can do, but I can understand the move.
The first game of round 1 is a very hot kitchen, I can understand why their holding him off for a week or two more.

Midfield got their pants pulled down tonight. Defence worked hard, attack did okay, but the midfield was terrible.
Long season though, not such a bad thing to start the year with a loss. Make a few of the young fellas realise that it's not just gonna happen, the need to work hard for it.

Yes I saw some good and some bad too.
Only one way to go and that's up.
The saddest thing - my news thread on Facebook being filled up with Essendon supporters
But to be fair - if the tables were turned....

Mr Dangerfield goes alright too. Sloane kept us in it and Dangerfield dragged us over the line.

Does that mean someone is on the long term injury list?

I'm going to exercise my 'there's no such thing as a dumb question card'
Do the Crows have any (mathematical or otherwise) chance of making the 8?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, but their claim is more distant than Carlton, Brisbane and North Melbourne.
Adelaide would have to smash the WCE in Perth.
And Hope Port smash Carlton.
And hope Nth Melbourne and Brisbane lose.
Easy!

Re: Adelaide
Read somewhere the combined win for Adelaide and loss for Carlton needs to be 63 points or more (ie Adelaide win by 33 and Carlton lose by 30)

Yea I've seen that too brodlach, but to be honest we don't deserve to be there with the season we've had. To get in in those circumstances would be no more than a consolation, and we would be bundled out in the first round you would think.

We have the 'fight' - we just need to produce it / put it all together at the right times !

Apparently Andrew Demetriou could say the same for EssendonGingernuts wrote:Yea I've seen that too brodlach, but to be honest we don't deserve to be there with the season we've had. Re: Adelaide
Agree but none of those 4 or 5 battling it out really deserve that 8th spot. If Carlton had beaten Essendon last week, this would all mean zilch as they would already have 8th locked up. They've lost so many games they should have won. Brisbane have copped some floggings this year, just look at their % for proof of that. North Probably deserve it more than anyone else but hell, if we are in that 8th position by the end of Saturday, I have no problem being a Collingwood fan for a day on SundayGingernuts wrote:Yea I've seen that too brodlach, but to be honest we don't deserve to be there with the season we've had. We won't be in the box seat by the end of Saturday night though. Even if Carlton lose, Brisbane lose and we win, it won't be enough. Can't see Port flogging Carlton or us flogging West Coast. Doubt we'll even win, we haven't won 2 in a row since May.
Re: Adelaide
And part of that 2 in a row was wins over GWS and St Kilda

So the story is that Betts wants to come to Adelaide, who will Adelaide be trading to Carlton to make the deal happen?
