Really? Then why bother posting it on here if you don't expect people to attempt to answer your riddle?eartotheground wrote:Not sure what you are getting at with this, Phil. People getting pestered to answer to you on things is a habit that is a bit concerning. I'm sure you will find out in time if it is necessary.

No problems Phil. My apologies for not deferring to your status and position in the SANFL and obeying your expectations. Best of luck all.

OK, let's keep the personal stuff out of it and everyone get back to the issues, please.

Each club would have already signed the most promising juniors in the area they will lose.
A big windfall for no effort under the old system.
In Norwood's case, it comes with noticeably more effort and importantly cost.

Yes, in the future it will. I was only talking about 'inherited' players, Scrunch.
For a long time until now, Norwood's 'country' zone has been basically an extended city zone, very easy to service compared to (say) Glenelg and West Adelaide.

Long discussions elsewhere about an ongoing salary cap investigation and clearance is much ado about nothing.
Never happened.

Yes, it's amazing the supposed inside information about things that haven't happened, if that's true.

Haven't heard anything regarding Glenelg's latest recruiting target, but I believe Ben Dougall is who you may be referring to as heading to Sturt.

Re: Rumour File
The problem with Ben Dougall is that he can't make up his mind where he wants to be a big star. He gave up football for cricket, now he's going back to football again. He's already trialled with 4 AFL clubs, looking for a rookie contract. He needs to make a decision and stick to it soon. He'll be 23 next month. Otherwise he'll end up like a lot of lads I've seen over the years, who've wasted their natural talent because they want it all at once.Harts7 wrote:eartotheground wrote:Glenelg to pick up a blast from the Crows past.

Could there be an excitement machine, who has had a slightly troubled past, heading to the SANFL in the new year?
