I believe you are correct.
Ranks are beginning to get a bit thin at Noarlunga...
Weve had 17 players make their SANFL debuts so far this year, and frankly some of them arent quite up to it.
We have Gibbs, Griffiths, Brownless, Fitt, Wilkinson,Heaslip, Wilkinson,Rose,and Overall all out with injury... if they were all fit they would be in the side.

Someone was trying to tell me on Saturday that if North Melbourne doesn’t let Horne-Francis go to Port then he’s happy to go back to South for 12 months…..surely that can not be true

yes ...good ol' Jetstar cancelled a few fights...~~!! I heard one player flew home via Brisbane....but would have been cheaper to fly via Bali to Adelaide!!!

In Sturt's case 1 - 2 years seems to be the most.

But this would be Gibbs 3rd season at South if he goes around again?
That would be pretty good I reckon.

lots of good news at South, player retention excellent compared to last year when we lost 52% of our list. Gibbs, Broadbent and Brooksby going around again.
South also about to announce an new interstate recruit....

A real shame. I called him in trials and in both of his league games, including (unfortunately) where he had that sickening injury at Alberton, and could see real class that was going to be a huge boost to South. Hopefully he recovers to play good footy back home.
