can they (in which ever form they come in) break the sanfl premiership drought ?

Would that be a first?
I read that they are questioning an ongoing commitment to the sanfl with injuries taking their toll and having to top up with non-sanfl standard players to field a team.
They say it does not develop their afl players if they're not competitive.
The current top up player rules are being questioned.
As usual, Port want the rules bent to their liking.

I don't understand why the SANFL or their clubs bend over for PA. What's in it for them. PA use the SANFL as development league. I don't see them putting anything back.

No one with a subjective look at it does......i still the the afl push the sanfl to do certain things to suit them

I reckon subject to injuries, Lycett might now find it a long road back into the Power.
He looks slow and is not that versatile.
The modern ruck these days does much more than tap the ball around.
Looking at his stats against Sturt, he didn't have much of a presence.
He clearly won the hits outs, but Port lost the clearances.
4 kicks and 1 handball, no marks.
And these 2 new tall units in the Power might leap ahead of him in the pecking order.
