Glenelg suffer another big loss, this time to North at Gliderol Stadium.

North are miles ahead of Glenelg, even if Glenelg was at full strength. However with teams beating Glenelg, Sturt and South by big margins, it looks good on paper but does very little for them when they have to come up against proper opposition the next Saturday

Who was the umpire who had no idea what the advantage rule is? At least twice within goalkicking distance he ruled advantage when the bay player had disposed of the ball either before or as he blew the whistle.
Made no difference to the result but the same ump made some shockers today (including robbing Kirkby of a screamer in his 150th   - no sense of occasion)
The Bays made a struggle of it for three quarters but got totally overrun in the last.

Rowan Hundertmark was the ump.

Since their Round 5 win v Sturt, Glenelg's last eight games have been frighteningly bad.

i actually thought we had a crack for the majority of the day but were simply outclassed, that period of domination we had during the third term without scoring goals & the North got 2 in about 3 minutes stopped any chance of getting back in the game.....Massie's changes at lemon time while not fruitful did show some nous for a change

had a hair cut yesterday & the barber told me Chad Cornes is the number one target to coach next year & he's deciding whether he wants it or not but thought it was more likely to be yes than no.....Ross Gibbs is one of his clients (perhaps he got it from there)...anyone go to Tony's situated at the shops on Diagonal road near the Oaklands road intersection

That is a total of 189 points they have lost by over the last fortnight...

Historically Glenelg are not great at retaining coaches , so who knows . I think after their decision to get rid of Mickan , after once again failing to win finals , they would be reluctant to sack Massie now. He seems to have lost the players and has lost supporters as their once great home crowds have dwindled , yet that is also typical of a lot of Glenelg fans .
They have lost their last 3 by 263 points and I think are averaging about 11 goal defeats since thheir last win.

Is this because of their recruiting or coaching?

Souths recruiting has been said to be good but we are only 1 win above them.
