Travis Boak 4th in the Brownlow, Mark of the year, Goal of the year, preliminary final, SANFL Grand final.
All in all, nothing to "show" for all the hard work, but an amazing year by all at the PAFC.

Actually, Ginge, Hinkley might be lucky to survive. We won't stand for this mediocrity for long...

This was doing the rounds on one of the AFC Facebook forums I'm a member of Saturday evening:
I fear the respite will only be for the cricket season though.

Good mail that Ryder has given Port the green light to discuss trade details with Essendon.
In fact, very good mail......

So many people always come out with calls like that .. Maybe they would have maybe they wouldn't have, we'll never know so it's a pointless exercise. Hawks were miles better in the GF than the week before.

Michael Voss joins Port as its midfield manager. Fair Coup!

Another win to the Power, they seem to have no problems getting the cream of the crop at the moment!

Premiership captain, Brownlow winner, senior coaching experience and spent the last two years in the media analysing the game from all angles across all clubs. It's a coup IMO.
Well done to Port, renewing his friendship with Shaun Hart.

Interesting.
If Adelaide would've appointed him as senior coach many would have lambasted the decision including the majority of Port fans, and yet Port recruiting him as an assistant is a master stroke.

Haha.
I think its a good appointment on the basis that Voss' appointment is under Hinkley's guidance and leadership. He has a great understanding of the game and is a terrific leader, who I have no doubt will pick up right where Walsh left off.
Opposition fans would have been questioning his appointment as head coach, and rightfully so- heck, Adelaide fans would have critiqued it. This will happen with sacked coaches. There will always be an element of doubt if the likes of Watters, Sanderson, Voss, McCartney, Ratten get another gig.
I wanted Port to target someone of the McCartney mould, but Voss is an improvement on that. Very happy with the move, and would have been extremely envious if Adelaide managed this sort of signing.

Re: Port Adelaide
Therein lies the difference with how the two clubs are currently viewed.
( Up until last week ) Everything Adelaide was doing seemed to be another mistake on top of another mistake whilst everything Port touches has seemingly turned to gold.
Anyway, we've got tarps to remind us of how bad things got, when you've got them come to us with your bleeding hearts.

No bleeding hearts here mate.
While I do envy some your more recent achievements, I would still rather be an AFC supporter any day of the week!
