What is everyone expecting from this game? For me, main aim is for no injuries, a chance to see some of the younger players, see how Betts and J-Pod fit in to the team (I don't think J-Pod's strategy of fall over, get a free in front of goal will work here   ), and for the side to have a competitive hit out.

Adelaide wanted to win. Port wanted to see how kids played. Was a boring match really.

Only a pre-season game and Port were very undermanned, but the Adelaide coaching staff would be pretty damn happy the way the team went about it yesterday.

New recruits Podsiadly and Betts did very well, and young Matt Crouch showed he's good enough already to get a game or few in his first season.

didn't watch it, no interest in it but its funny how things change because when i did have more interest in it, it was more Port wanting to win & the Crows using these games as a trial

The whole thing seems a waste of time now if only Foxtel subscribers get to see it. Maybe all the people who watch Foxtel bank with NAB these days.

It hardly promotes much interest amongst the rest of afl supporters.
