Yes, we certainly looked old and slow yesterday. There's a lot that can be changed, like players sticking tackles, hitting targets, holding marks and playing with intensity. But none of that was anywhere near an acceptable level, so as a result we didn't even get to see how the Eagles might have reacted under pressure, because none was ever placed on them. Norwood will be deficient in pace all season - From our perspective that can be overcome with ball winning and efficient disposal, but if we fall down in either of those area's, we could be in trouble. Have to back our players to get back to a level we've proven capable of, but there is definitely hope there for the opposition if they can shut us down onball and force us into errors like the Eagles did yesterday, then hurt us with slick ball movement or pure pace.

Shirvington and Bolt Very Happy

Not really Sad

Young lad named Ferrera that looks OK and is nimble.

Bartlett, Smart and Phillips will help, as will better ball movement, run and tackling .. The latter 3 is really where it needs to come from.

We weren't a quick side last season, but lost our 3 quickest players in Hughes, Wilson and Kirwan. That's where the issue stems from.
