Big Phil maybe you can answer this. Last year I think Central recruited around 20 players? This year it's 7 so far. 27 players recruited in 2 off-seasons - is the junior talent that thin on the ground in their zones?

Hey Flagy, it was about 15 players all up last year, that came in from outside the club.

Junior talent more than okay, evident by Under 18's improvement and Under 16's Premiership this year.

Just think it was a pretty significant sweep of dead wood that brought in a larger than usual amount of depth players.

There were 7 new players represent the Dogs at League level this year who were not from within the Central zone or returning players.

List turnover his healthy and I think coupled with some organic growth from within resulted in the right mix for the improvement we saw.

Thanks BP.
Google tells me it was 17 last year, so 24 in 2 off seasons is a lot of recruiting. Mark Ross earning his keep out there.
