Nice pick up for North Adelaide, with a home coming for Tariek Newchurch.

Have been commentating him since his Under 18's days and thought he was a little unlucky to not get an AFL debut with Adelaide.
Should be an exciting player for the Roosters in 2024.

The Roosters have signed key defender Cody Raak from the Western Bulldogs.

Re: All things North Adelaide in 2024
Finally North played a genuine ruckman allowing Mitch Harvey to play in his correct position as a key forward.
Every North supporter I know has been crying out for this to happen for the last 5 years or so. In 2020 a prominent supporter said to me that North were a ruckman away from a flag and the lack of a genuine ruckman certainly cost North in 2020 and 2022.
They are now out of the "premiership window" and Hoy would possibly not be the long term answer, but to have a 6 foot 8 inch ruckman competing in the centre made a big difference and Mitch Harvey was always a threat up forward.

And again this week. Strachan certainly shaded Hoy, but Hoy was competitive again whereas Strachan normally kills North.rocket_rooster wrote:Finally North played a genuine ruckman allowing Mitch Harvey to play in his correct position as a key forward.

Harvey up forward was a threat again with his three goals. Harvey being at full forward also meant that there were a lot more opportunities for the crumbers.
