If Mr Rucci isn't happy then that's automatically a good thing

Also, this may be a dumb question, and I may have missed this, but does City Mazda no longer hold the naming rights to the ground, or did the AFL stipulate that the ground name have to revert to Richmond Oval for this game?
Toyota sponsor the AFL & this no doubt was the reason for the 'name change'

My only concern was the catering, there are not too many clubs that could look after the needs of 10,000 or more patrons, Westies did it pretty well.
A different club will reap the rewards next season, time to settle petals.
A lot of money was spent on Richmond Oval to get it up to there (AFL) standard, around $50,000, so I am not convinced they will do it each year, and definitely not at grounds with cricket pitches.

Re: Richmond Oval Additions
given the history of goal posts in West Adelaides history, i was a little surprised that they allowed the AFL to put in higher posts

LOL Bayman - we may just knock those point posts down to size and paint them red. The left overs we can have a small BBQ and any bits that dont burn, hang em over the new past players bar where the decking is.
