West Adelaide are coming off a disappointing home loss to Norwood, while Port Melbourne had the bye last weekend but the week before had a solid 47 point win over Williamstown at Burbank Oval. Will West Adelaide be able to bounce back with a short turnaround, or will Port Melbourne take advantage of their week off and notch up the win?

Pretty hard task for Westies. Port Melbourne at home and having the bye makes it lop-sided.

West will lose several players because of employment and university.

We should still field a good side and I'm looking forward to getting on to the MCG.

Has the team been announced.

Can't wait to head over in the morning.

Cant wait to head over tomorrow and walk onto the G. I hear there has been extra security put on for FB because of stardom.

Westies leave tomorrow morning, about 9.40.

I'll try to do a bit of a blog about the trip as it happens.

Port Melbourne are likely to have 3 ex-West players, none of them West juniors, though.

Adrian Bonaddio, ex Port Power, Dean Galea (remember him and his haircut!) and Tom Langford.

West rested a few players from the Reserves side Saturday in preparation for this game, but it will be a tough task.

I will be keeping a close eye on some regular TalkingFootySA posters to make sure they behave themselves.

on top of those players you mention i'll presume Batsanis is playing ? (presuming he's fit)
