Rumour File

Must say the silly or rumour season is in full swing the players I’ve seen named from Port going to the Eagles are interesting . But seeing last silly season I bit and ran with the eagles signing players they didn’t . I’m sitting back just reading all the posts and seeing the “names” mentioned by other SANFL teams fans it’s like a good cheap novel lol .

Rumours out there Phil Raymond maybe returning to the eagles .

I’m seeing talk that Summerton from Port has signed with North and Sturt lol

I’m at Globe Derby Park & the rumour out here is Glenelg have enquired about certain people for the coaching role, we’ve heard most of the names already but this one was new....Paul Hamilton

Think they could certainly do worse than Hammo, he was GM of a league in country Victoria for a few years after he left Essendon but think I read a while back that he is now working for AFL Victoria as Talent Manager. He has been out of the day to day coaching role since he left the Crows about 10 years ago but you never say never I guess.

And as a side note yes I’ve been coping flak from South fans elsewhere and some Glenelg fans also didn’t like my one reply .
So eagles recruited Ainger and Wundke from south both retired now gone from the SANFl.
All we see posted online is how eagles stole their players
Whoever if the rumours are true that is game enough to sign and play Brett Eddy
How many years will the south faithful moan and complain about losing a player their club bought .
At some stage you got to accept stuff happens and move on
Players come and go

That’s why it’s not working on me any more it doesn’t actually matter
Almond going to North is a pain but as I said somewhere players come and go but the team remains there .

Me biting back it’s taken me awhile to understand people love to do it to me I did have issues relearning sarcasm.
But the thing that finally got me to stop stressing over little things .i won’t post that not footy way too long let’s say me stressing out got the West Torrens council a bucket load of parking fines .

Yep that’s one reason I never had a bite on the Eddy rumour .
It’s just me putting out there all the rumours
I’ve even seen Sebs name mentioned with Glenelg Bayman just another rumour :cheers

I think the eagles need players as well
But not going to stress out
I’ll go for a fish when I can get rid of any stress down Glenelg North way
One thing I’ve learned since 2015 ( no I don’t recall that year ) until now life’s too short to get stressed out over the little things in life or football .
Basically what happens will happen to all footy teams

There is nothing from the eagles so could be true might not be to .

Ok one rumour squashed Borholm ( Bomber ) is at eagles training tonight

Any more on the Bret Eddy rumours it’s gone quiet
