The Tigers would need everything to fall into place for them to win, they are a chance but not a good one.

well we are slowly getting better & being competitive longer in matches, however while the improvement is there, we'll be no match for the Eagles, our defence is too small & Ainger & Wundke will have a field day............if it happens to rain all day it will be closer & give us a remote chance

Don't forget Macgregor Bayman youll have to cover him and a few others who float through the forward lines like Boyd Goldsworthy etc

Boyd isn't really a noted goal kicker but the other two definitely are, Goldsworthy is a great kick...i knew he'd kick that goal at Unley the other week

Glenelg looked to me to have a few players who really struggled. The Eagles looked settled and one or two of their lesser-known players looked very promising.

Eagles surprised me by coming fast out the blocks . First time this year ! Huge win but still need to polish several areas

Eagles weren't great, but Glenelg really poor. A real noticeable drop in defensive pressure from the opposition after playing South and Sturt the previous fortnight. I thought Lloyd, Batley and Sumner were excellent sweeping across half back. Lloyd's best league game so far. No great highlights from the game - Eagles will take the win and some percentage and move on to North next weekend.

I can't say much more to what you've said except to highlight Lloyds match as well and Wundke should have got 7.4 and not 5.6. Also, that was the first time we have gone three weeks in a row with the same line up.

I think Kurt Slaven has said since the 2006 GF when Gav missed and Paul Stewart came in !!
But we all could be wrong

There was a change in the line up every week in 2006. There were two changes to the side for that particular match, Rugolo was omitted as well; Jarrad came into the side after missing the other two finals through injury. And in fact, Stewart made his debut in the Preliminary, Sam Fairclough came in for Colville. Round 4 2007 was the last unchanged side (from Rd 2)mickyj wrote:spell_check wrote:Aerie wrote:Eagles weren't great, but Glenelg really poor.
