The Eagles are coming off the double bye but are coming off a win over Sturt prior to their extended break, while North are coming off a big win over Glenelg. Which side will continue their winning streak?

It will be the Annual EAGLES KIDS DAY Game

All kids Eagles & North are invited to take part in the pre-game parade. This involves a colourful parade around the oval, lining up as a guard on honour for your respective clubs and then there is a Vili's donut giveaway at the end. (to take part meet behind Southern Goals by 1.40pm)

All kids can go into a lucky dip with a large range of prizes being given away from caps, scarves, tshirts. footies, pizza vouchers and other items.

There is free face painting and a jumping castle thanks to Greater Union and they will be doing other promotions as well.

Half Time the IGA Mini League game matches junior players from our country zone (North East Football League) v our closest club (Woodville South U13).

Also representatives from all our junior clubs and school football programs have been invited to be our guests at the home match lunch.

Should be a fun day.

That's good for the kids they'll love it . Very good way to get the kids involved and some good giveaways as well . Well done.

Sounds like a great initiative by the Eagles but North to take home the bacon here. Roosters by 3-5 goals.

If the Roosters win this one, it just about seals a finals' berth and it's just a matter of whether they can get third spot. The players as a group have stepped up, and demolished a pretty placid Bay team. As the saying goes, you only play as well as your opponent lets you, and North aren't letting their opponents have too much leeway at the moment. The tackling and defensive pressure by all players has been first class. The defence has found the solidarity it was lacking, and the midfield has found the grunt from the fringe players, showing that Jimmy Allan is not a one man band. Clisby, Clinch, Shannon and M Thring have all given drive and with regulars Bennett, Ryswyk, Thompson and Thiele there, the game plan is coming together nicely. Having said that, the Eagles are a far better team than their lowly position indicates, and if North want to ease into the game, they will suffer the consequences. If the Crows and Power take Johnston and Blee, and with Alleway suspended, the forward line may struggle, so goals may have to come from the running midfielders. North still have an achievable goal of reaching 3rd so an all out effort to give themselves that chance will be required. North by 20 points.

North by 22 points, simply for the reason they are playing better footy than the Eagles right now.

No R&B. Thompson will be back after 1 game suspension and Alleway is out for 1 after a back hander to a Glenelg player which got a reprimand but he had points so got a game.

well the last two times these teams played at Woodville, North had too many players out, if & they might meet in the finals it'll be totally different scoreline presuming North play close to their best team, it will be a lot lot closer but after having said that Wwt did what they had to do & made up a lot of percentage in doing so, if they do make it the top 3 (yes r&b i now have West as a genuine chance) will have an extra team to worry about
