I had thought that some other SANFL teams were doing this back in the late 90's.

Yes, I know that some of West';s coaches have done this, but as with all teams, it depends on how long a coach lasts before the next one undoes the plan.

Norwood did this back in the mid-late 1980s, but whereas the Reserves, U19s & 17s were enjoying tremendous success, it wasn't necessarily translating into the League performances. Hopefully, things will be different this time.
