This seems to be the trend and will continue.
The turnover of players at all clubs is a concern.
Aside from one or two blips in this trend, the net replacements seem to be ever less experienced or with proven ability than those leaving.

No mate, we are very lucky to be 4-1 could easily be 0-5

If Norwood kicked straight early they probably had a match winning lead & did dominate a large portion of the game

Sturt were 34 points up during the third quarter, most teams win from there

Adelaide almost 7 goals up into the third quarter, as above

Eagles led with a minute to go, quite easily could have won

Port won, the scoreboard flattered Glenelg because we were outplayed, outworked, outmuscled & outclassed

So if luck was against we could be winless

I know what you're saying bayman but I wish Westies were travelling that rough.

I note that Glenelg were $7 to go top with one bookie this afternoon. They are now $4. Did you plunge, Bayman.
$7 was ridiculously over the odds.

No, scrappy sent me a message but was eating at the time & by the time I read it & looked it was into $4.00…$4.00 is about right, while not at all confident I would have thrown $300 on at $7.00….pretty sure scrappy got on though

I think Saturday is a big test for your blokes as Norwood impressed me last week especially with their tackling, admittedly they played a team that aren’t going as well as expected

Bad luck that you didn't get on. Scrappy has done very well. Someone told me he backed North at $10. He should be in a no lose situation, especially if they both remain in the top 3.
I guess we are off topic, but I agree North will be up against it tomorrow. Norwood are reminding me very much of when they went top with Bassett and then Warren. It will be a clash of styles and I think the small Norwood Oval would help Norwood shut North down.

After Saturday it is a good thing I didn’t get on, no spark, no intensity, nothing, South on the other hand played with intent & didn’t stop

Turner = No
Durdin = definitely missing him, however it doesn’t matter who plays if their isn’t any effort, without taking anything away from South who played with passion & intensity, Glenelg lacked intensity & it was a totally insipid performance, much like the Glenelg teams pre Mark Stone, his main message was “Effort is king” well there wasn’t any effort on Saturday

Bays just a bit more experienced and I thought Sturt would always struggle even with an inconsistent Glenelg. They got the job done when it counted.

Norwood looked pretty ordinary against a very sharp and upbeat Crows.
You'd think they will bounce back, but it could be a pretty tight contest.
How do you rate your chances Bayman?

North will need their A-game against the Crows who have beaten them this year.

I can’t see Norwood recovering mentally from last week, with Partington back I see Glenelg winning on the bigger ground & in dry conditions which will suit, I can’t see us beating Adelaide or North though, Norwoods’ only hope is Boyd in ruck, I unfortunately think Adelaide will win the second semi

Just on the North match, when they lost at Prospect North were decimated by covid so forget that match
