That's the story going around, got whittled down from six to two (Glenelg and Eagles).

Foote going/or gone back to Sydney to join the police force.

Big loss with Nick Hayes also.

Will probably lose Rowe and McNeill to the draft alonv with Jones.

I heard he was going to the Dogs, if Jeff Andrews was still there.

Should be a good player at State League level.

Carlton were interested in Rowey but possibly have cooled after trading for Fogarty a small forward from Geelong.

I can’t answer for any other poster the Eagles announced these today at 4 pm on their Facebook page .
If internet talk is anything to go by other clubs were chasing these two players .

Well yes I posted the cryptic clue regarding the Mutch brothers, out of respect I can’t name them but a few more recruiting announcements to be made during the week, one in particular should please you all

Eagles sign Clay Cameron from the Gold Coast

The two main signings I'd hope for would be Foote and Tsitas. Tsitas becomes even more important if Foote leaves. Lowson would be very handy to have for the year with Nick Hayes gone as well.

If Foote leaves, Riley Knight would be a good replacement to be that attacking hard running midfielder.

Sutcliffe and Petrenko would be two others you'd welcome back given their experience.

Clay Cameron may go some way to replacing Nick Hayes?

Good to have Jack Hayes, Von Bertouch, Thompson and Giuffreda confirmed as the pillars down either end.

A lot will depend on the draft, but good to see the Eagles getting on the front foot after winning the premiership. The last decade has shown that each team basically starts off on an even footing and whoever best plans for the particular season has the best chance - regardless of where they finished the prior year.
