Centrals (5th 2-2 56.22%) v Norwood (6th 2-2 46.50%)
Saturday 30 April
My Money House Oval

Reserves: 9:25am
League: 12:10pm

Centrals put in a solid 3rd quarter in a gutsy win over Port, while Norwood were disappointing in their loss to Sturt. Who will notch up their 3rd win of the year in this redeye game.

oh thanks for letting me know it is the ''red eye'' game, i was going to go after work, but finishing work at Glenelg at 12 noon & getting to Elizabeth by 12.10pm couldn't happen on a jet plane, totally ridiculous time to start league footy, as for the game i'll tip Central at home by 7 points

I think Centrals might actually touch the Legs up in this one. Maybe 43 points.

A solid win by Centrals today. They out-Norwood Norwood today with their chasing and harassing, causing turnover after turnover, and Norwood capitulated under the pressure.

It was not a pretty game, not by any stretch of the imagination, but a win is a win no matter how ugly it is.

Close enough

48 points
Good prediction though

Mostly bad for Norwood
But there was some good from the game

Johnson played well enough in the midfield
Chippendale impressed first up from a long spell
Villis in his 2 games against GL + CD has been impressive

Centrals were awesome with or without possession
Luke Habel starred
He spoke very well in an after match interview , like a future sports commentator
Isaya Mckenzie looked the goods in only his 2nd game , might be a star in the making

Coach Ben Warren said after the game that Norwood were handballing too much [157 handballs]

I wonder what Laird thought
Centrals had
206 kicks
205 handballs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
