Just over 3 weeks to the state game and I don't believe a squad has been announced as of yet.
Usually a squad would've been announced by now and they would be training together. Leaving it a bit late.

I think there will be an announcement on an initial squad within the next week...
I know the selectors had a meeting the other week to discuss initial squad members...

Cutting it fine. They will get 2 training sessions together and then play a State game.

I wonder if both ABC and 7 will cover the game given the respective broadcast agreements in each state?

I have no problem with him being in that position, he was there last year with success and is very passionate about State Footy at SANFL level.

I don't think Channel 7 will be covering it, but I know ABC in Victoria will be broadcasting the game...
Whether it will beamed into South Australia - which I do not know - remains to be seen...
