On a serious note, do you think Jimmy Allan's game will fit Norwood's style, or am I reading that he'll have to (and is willing to) adapt his game.

Bartlett and Allan are two quality recruits.

I think Allan will have a specific role to play and most likely that will differ from the one he previously had with North.

Worry more about a rookie like Ben Warren earning the respect of the playing group and continuing the processes that Bassett put into place.

A quality player like Allan will fit into any game style and lets be honest, game styles differ very little in the modern game.

Allen probably wants a flag and figures that there is more chance with Norwood in the next 2 years then the Bays. Getting a triple Magery medalist as a recruit shows how pathetic the SANFL is as regards salary cap cheating.

If a player was just looking for a flag, it's hard to know where he'd be best off right now. Both North and Norwood have new coaches. Norwood have had a massive turnover of players. It's not just more of the same for either. I reckon money was Allen's prime consideration.
