Final Five
Lots of possibilities now.
Looks like the Eagles have top spot sewn up, but any of Norwood, West, Port and South could finish top 3 or as low as 5th?
Is it completely out of the question for Adelaide to sneak into the five?

Re: Final Five
My guess would see the minor ladder appear as follows:
Eagles
Port
West
Norwood
South
Adelaide
Central
Sturt
Glenelg
North
Massive win for the Panthers yesterday, based purely on the health of their squad as it stands today, the Crows could have made a charge for 5th. Still could in theory but expect South to hang on now and conversely could push for the double chance. On the flipside of the coin yesterdays loss will cost Norwood a double chance. On current form it would be hard to argue that they'd be worthy of one anyway.
Moreso than last season, the AFL clubs will likely have the biggest say on how the final 5 play out from here.

A side will need 14 wins to secure the minor premiership and that hasn't happened yet.
Norwood aren't at full strength currently; who knows where Port will will finish if the last two weeks are anything to go by. And if anything, don't count the Crows out for now, especially if they don't get any more injuries and other results go their way!

No it's not.
Next week's game between Adelaide and South may well decide the final's chances of one or both of them.

Not sure about that, TP, I think the program was changed and West play South the week after?

I wonder what the odds are of a Port v Adelaide SANFL Grand Final, and how that would be received.

You were quite right Lee.

I watched some of the game, TP and thought South played pretty well.
Gotch has done a great job with the Panthers, whatever happens this year.

I can see the headline banners leading into the GF.
It is a Crows and Port SHOWDOWN Grand Final.

We would have a 50K crowd attendance though.

i doubt that very much, Crow supporters don't turn up now so while more would go to a grand final i'd suggest 15,000 at most & say 20,000 Port supporters & 5,000 neutrals at top, so i'd suggest 40,000 at absolute best

40,000 what a catastrophe for the SANF. Think about it, Crows supporter will be out in force to play the enemy.

Re: Final Five
nice sarcasm, i never said it (40,000) would be a catastrophe, would indeed be a decent result, however it was just my estimation of how many would go, not that i listen often but when i listen to 5AA i hear callers that say they barrack for Adelaide ridiculously say i'm not going to a Port home game & the like for various reasons, granted it wouldn't be a Port home game but those callers wouldn't want to be near some Port supporters
