Allen ties with AOJ...half divi, better than nothing

Referring to Bundy's post, for the purposes of this thread, is it necessary for posters to actually bet, or can they join in on a 'fantasy' basis?

I think people can still play and get involved even if they are playing on a fantasy basis. I would think the more discussion and involvement would be good.

How often are these Jockey Challenges available?

TE Jockey Challenges are available every day of the week.
We'd probably all go broke if we did them every day though ..lol.

But I think most of us play at least once a week

Soooooo - wasn't going to do a Jockey Challenge today - but just took a peak at the Wagga markets.

OMGosh - there are some good prices in there !!

We have a very short favourite - so wouldn't mind finding something to beat him ...lol.

I like Travers as a 'roughie' at $101
He has 5 rides - they seem okay

It's big fields so points could be 'shared' around.

Any JCers got any thoughts?

HOw do people come up with a jockey?

Is there tough scrutiny and systematic process or a dart?

I think I probably do it a bit different to some.
I look at the markets provided before I go look at which jockey I pick.

Some look at the fields then hope they get a good price for the jockey they've picked.

I usually go for a 'roughie' with a chance and a 'medium' price with a chance - I look at the rides see if 'professionals' have selected the horses the jockeys are on and general form.

There are some out there that only go for the favourites.

Thing is I've found with the Jockey Challenges is yes the favourites 'get up' but the roughies can get up just as easily.

Not to bad but --> indeed...

Yes going not too bad at the moment - just got to keep on boxing on and dodge some bullets

But we both know it can go either way right till the end - this rollercoaster ride aint over till it's over..lol.
Fingers are still crossed - circulation might be cut off soon

Okada 2.5 points in front with one race to go......

I know right - I was like - damn it - could have been 3.5 in front then no one could challenge him..lol.

In the end...

Wagga - sees Kissick kick away - but my guys did try hard
Geelong - sees Newitt miss by 1 point
Casino - BINGO - thank you very much Mr (or Ms - lol..not sure) Okada
