Energy phone call scams

I'm not sure if it's just myself . But lately I seem to get phone calls at 3.30 pm on my mobile phone . Mostly it's about saving energy . These calls have come from 03 numbers , today's was an 08 number .
I'll give you an example of these phone calls at 3.30 pm.
I answer there's nothing or no one on the line then a Click . So I know it's a scam caller but not all of these have been indians. Last week I received a call from Craig from Austria house I just hung up . This afternoon I got a call after the silence an Indian twat saying good morning. I decided to have some fun it's not morning it's afternoon that got a big laugh from the Indian twat who continued good morning this is a call to give you 22 percent off electricity I just hung up .

Am I the only one who gets these calls on my mobile ?
I don't hand out this number how do they get it.
And after I hang up I block these numbers so they can't call me again .

Personally I get a lot of calls telling me my computer is in jeapody of being hacked because I haven’t got this thing or that thing

I always retort the same way, that being “what is a computer?”

(Sometimes it’s the phone & I ask what are phone is)

Usually they hang up then...

For the ones that do not understand English & continue with their memorised spiel

I say I don’t understand you, please get your supervisor, that ends with the immediate click

I used to get 6 calls an hour 5 days a week on my landline by Indians saying I owe Telstra
Money for line rental. I contacted optus it's a scam i just unplugged my landline no more calls .
Just think it's strange my mobile week days at 3.30
Seeing I don't give that number out .

Another today at 4 pm couldn't understand him excluding when he said my name blocked the Victorian number .
