Throughout the decade they’ve had to replace a fair few decent players so I think the ins have been in line with the outs. They’ve managed to keep the key personnel from last season where they weren’t too far from success, so I think they’d believe they already have the nucleus to challenge. They have the longest list of outs of all clubs, but the majority are depth players so it would have only freed up minimal cap space I’d think.

How's Cotton going as a coach Scrunch ? Seeing you didn't answer that part
And players come and go from every club every year .

Luke Partington... Norwood- West Coast -Glenelg
Dom Barry.......... Glenelg-Port Adelaide - Norwood
Dom Barry is a decent pick up for the Redlegs
Some of his form when playing at Glenelg was sensational

The players were told that because of the heat & humidity to make sure they kept their fluids up....Dom took the advice literally lol

Bit disappointing to see Harry Viney as an OUT, thought perhaps he didnt get enough opportunities the last few seasons
Pat Levicki[West Adelaide] surprise that superboot was cleared
Simon Phillips will surely be missed up forward
Matt Fuller [retired] finishes up as a terrific defender at the club , hard to replace in defence
Never got to see Luke Valente[Fremantle] by all reports a very talented junior
Josh Glenn was a massive loss at the back end of the 2018 season, perhaps if he played , Norwood may have won the 2018 flag
Much has been said about Mitchell Griggs brilliance at the club, in my opinion Josh Glenn is as good a footballer as Grigg, talent wise
And off course Im so so surprised Mitchell Grigg has not been re drafted , as yet
The Norwood equilibrium is balancing up
INS
Dom Barry[Glenelg to Port Adelaide, now a redleg]
Dylan Barry[cousin of Dom Barry, from NT league]
Mitchell Coles[Barmera, was a junior at Norwood]
Josh Donohue [returns back to Norwood after playing for Norwood Payneham]
Corey Grove [last SANFL club was North Adelaide, played Spencer Gulf league last season]
Charlie Hay [Prince Alfred College, was previously a West Adelaide junior]
Dom Barry is the star recruit at this stage
Corey Grove played OK on the occasions I saw him for North Adelaide , surprised that he is 29 years old, and only played 33 games in the SANFL
28 year old Josh Donohue was a very good forward for Norwood, will add depth , and most prob be used as a small forward again
Can anyone elaborate further about Dylan Barry, Mitchell Coles or Charlie Hay ?

Re: NORWOOD 2019...All discussions
Charlie Hay is from Lameroo, I think. He was an outstanding junior & may have captained PAC. His form dropped off a bit in the last year or so, but that may have been due to school commitments.
Has plenty of talent, so may well mature into a good player.

12/5/2012 was a significant day in Adelaide
It was memorable for 2 sporting highlights
The Black Caviar win , Goodwood Hcp , Morphettville and the Corey Grove mark of the day for Port v North at Alberton Oval

Re: NORWOOD 2019...All discussions
Norwood select teams of each decade
Here is the team of 2010-2017 so far
In CAPITALS are current players
Warren Newton Phillips
SMART DAWE GRIGG
WILSON PANOS Gallagher
Fuller Chippendale Jeffries
BODE Mcguiness GEORGIOU
BAULDERSTONE Zorzi Webber
Reserves
DONOHUE
Kirwan
Terlich
LEVICKI
Forster
Suckling
Therefore West Adelaide recruit Pat Superboot Levicki is a surprise transfer
Of the current players ,not listed in the 7/10ths of a decade team that might make the team by the end of the decade include :
Dom Barry
Josh Glenn ???
Lewis Johnson
Brad Mckenzie
Matthew Nunn
Cameron Shenton
Luke Surman
Also not selected is triple North Adelaide Magarey Medalist James Allan who played for Norwood for 2 years
Others not selected, but might be a qualifying process include :
Jessie Aish
Nathan Batsanis
Luke Brown
Jaryd Cachia
Bryce Campbell
Orazio Fantasia
Luke Jericho
David Rodan[especially for that matching winning goal at Richmond this decade ]
Matt Thomas
Taylor Walker [who played 2008-2010]

Scrunch
I would say that representatives of the club selected that team
I just added some predictions[2018-2019] and players who may or may not have been considered from 2010 onwards
I dont know the selection criterias

Nick Lower was a fantastic player, Liam Davis might be stiff to miss a forward possie too.
With all due respect to Pat Levicki, he wouldn’t make an extended squad during that period. Hope the lad goes well at Westies though.

Nick Lower played in the 2010 GF finals loss to Central Districts
Yes he was a very good player, and a worthy selection in any 2010+ team
From the 2010 losing Norwood GF team , other players of ilk were
Nick Duigan
Gavin Hughes
Tom Jonas
Paul Puopolo
Same Rowe
David Trotter
Tim Weatherald

Nick Duigan played sanfl footy the way it should be played....by having a crack & taking on the opposition, played like Paul Sherwood did at the bay
Nick is the reason i can not stand the commentator Andy Maher, interviewing him after a Carlton win, Maher said ''this must be better than playing in front of 500 ?'' total disrespect & therefore i have total disrespect for Maher who incidenaltly is very ordinary on the cricket coverage in recent seasons
