Well, for memory, the contestant asks for 6 numbers, they can be either large numbers (100, 75, 50) or small numbers (5,6,8, etc), then they get a random total. The contestant has to use some or all of the numbers to arrive at the total.
It's usually rather difficult, but in this case, the first two numbers were 100 and 50, and the random total was 150. Even the least bright person could have added 100 and 50, and arrived at the random total.

I used to watch because, being a numbers person myself, I used to be amazed by the girl who does the numbers. In the shows I saw, she never failed to calculate the target. Getting the right answer is one thing, but doing it in 30 seconds, and on television, is another.
Anyone who has had television experience will tell you it's amazing how the brain works differently when in front of the camera.
i think they are showing repeats on in the arvo at 3pm. Not sure if there is a current season going.
