Re: 2016 SANFL Weekly Broadcast Information
With the time difference between Australia and Brasil all of the C7 stations will be running "yesterdays" highlights from the Olympics, having said that, 2pm Adelaide is 2am Rio so surely they could squeeze in 3 hours of footy along the way? ( I know, I know, the AFL will take precedence in that regard and that is on the main station not 72 or 73. )

No, there isn't. Only the 18 games, plus finals, in their contract...
The Sturt v Adelaide game will be video streamed, LifeFM will be at Woodville for Eagles v Norwood, the SANFL Stream Team will be covering the South v North and Port v Glenelg game...
Unfortunately that means it is highly likely the West v Central game will not be covered...
Finally some good news for Westies fans.

It'll be annoying but can understand their reasoning. In lieu of that, there's two rounds with two matches being telecast in a couple of weeks, and both these matches in both these rounds are able to be shown on Seven's main channel. In fact of the remaining 17 telecast matches (finals included), only four (two in H&A) aren't being shown on the main channel.Booney wrote:With the time difference between Australia and Brasil all of the C7 stations will be running "yesterdays" highlights from the Olympics, having said that, 2pm Adelaide is 2am Rio so surely they could squeeze in 3 hours of footy along the way? tuned in to all of the games yesterday at times. One of the games was some of the strangest commentary I've ever heard, at Noarlunga.

didn't know where the ball was, who had it, anything at times, just very confusing.

I have to agree with The Hatchet. It was the worst call imaginable. At one stage North were looking to score and suddenly there was a goal to South. Someone must have kicked the ball 180 metres. It sounded as though they got someone off the street who had never seen a game of footy before. I felt sorry for the professional caller who was paired with this novice.

No, not at all...The Hatchet wrote:why do you ask? Does it matter how long someone listened?
I was asking more along the lines of whether it improved the longer you listened?
I'll be listening back to the call later in the week myself, so will find out then, anyway...

Maybe they did. As you'll see from my earlier comments, I was more trying to establish for how long they listened to it.waddayamean wrote:Maybe decided to turn off ?

According to Matthew Campbell from Sportsbet (?) on today's coverage, Zane Kirkwood is unbackable favourite for back to back Magarey Medals.

I think that's our only 4 for the year, too.

Hence my question mark, all I knew was it was a betting agency. Was still on 7s coverage, didn't think it deserved its own thread.
