Round 11 Ratings

Port - Still on top despite their loss.  Looked decidely uncomfortable under pressure.

Sturt - Only good things to say about the Double Blues.  Emphatic win sees them nearly lock up a top 3 spot.

Norwood - Oh no, here come the 'Legs and they look better each week.




Eagles - Better check the wheel nuts.  Another loss and they're a bit wobbly.

North - After last week's performance, a bad loss against Adelaide, despite the close scores

West - Their 'dour, defensive style' produced 15 goals & some exciting football.  Hanging in there.

South - Their fans are getting nervous that one of Split Enz's well known songs is wrong.

Central - Showing plenty of G & D and building a base for the future.

Adelaide - Probably should be higher, but a solid win against the Roosters.




Glenelg - Paid huge dollars for recruits, for not enough return. Next station - 'Panic'.

I know West were impressive, breaking the Magpies 9 game winning streak, but not sure their win is worthy of jumping up 4 places?

I would swap Central with West - Dogs have been very impressive in their last 2 wins - and then swap West with South - who have only won 1 from their last 4, now...

I did it this week with gaps between the first 3 and the bunch, as I thought the next 6 were about on a par.

I probably got too excited with Sunday's effort.

I shall resist the temptation to write several pages, B & W, and just state that I was referring to their song "History Never Repeats". I was alluding to South's history of starting well, getting their fans' hopes up and then dropping out if the race,

"I Got You" would have worked too

If it was "6 months in a leaky boat" that would describe Glenelg

It Never Ceases to Amaze Me how people can weave song titles into these replies. They just roll them out, Bold as Brass, no Conflicting Emotions, they just Give It A Whirl in a great Frenzy of titles.  You have to ask; What's The Matter with You", you Poor Boy?

Mind you, It's a Hard Act To Follow, trying to stay on that Strait Old Line. It was My Mistake to try to keep One Step Ahead, because rightfully Nobody Takes Me Seriously and they think it's all Stuff And Nonsense.

Oh, if the Bays have been in a leaky boat, they have to watch out for a Shark Attack.

Reading these posts again - I Hope I Never

I hate Split Enz.....this reaffirms why.   

You support Port Adelaide, Booney, so I've never rated your judgement
