i don't want to be seen as anything, i said PERHAPS & WITHOUT KNOWING, however  it would be a fair assumption to think when players leave mid season that there is a problem somewhere along the line

Quite a fair assumption I would have thought. We had a real discussion amongst some of the SAFC members about the ideal of recruiting from other SANFL clubs vs Interstate and so on. Perhaps its fair to say in hindsight that gaining any player who has issues at their current SANFL club and wants to leave or who is simply looking for more $$$ is not a good idea in every case and I suspect we may well have gone wrong in this area.

Well of course there is. But why make the suggestion it's the players fault. AS you say PERHAPS AND WITHOUT KNOWING.

If people still believe that the majority of players over the years  leave South as they have an attitude problem and that is the only reason why ...............then they have no idea. I think it's called a trend. It's been happennning for years .

waddaya, I think you are reading to much into a simple sentence, sometimes we all dissect things too much and come up with something all together different that what is meant, and the assumption is correct that when players leave mid season that there is a problem somewhere along the line, now wether todays win goes some way towards fixing it remains to be seen.

the ''suggestion'' was MY ASSUMPTION & was made ONLY because South WON TODAY, obviously if South win next week there could be some merit in it, if they get smashed it was just an aberration so time will tell

A deep breath . Move on and maybe think first. Never assume , you are proving that saying correct. 

Having seen our club win the last two matches in a row since these two lads left the club, maybe it was in fact a good outcome for the SAFC?

It's always a good outcome when players who don't want to play leave the club.

Bigger mountains have been climbed, but not in the last 16 or 17 years.

Tensions between players and coach have lessened considerably since these departures also.
