I also agree on your second point. If the whole aim of playing footy is to win a flag then he'd be best at Adelaide I reckon.

He's been through the tough times and now when they're coming good why would you jump ship?

Just one other thought regarding the Kurt Tippett saga.

The local media have not been correct on any Adelaide defect in recent history. Bock, Davis, Gunston have all come as complete surprises with not forewarning or rumours through local media. It was just a surprise press conference and see ya later.

The fact that Tippett is ‘all but leaving’ according to the local media actually suggests that he’s a good chance of staying.

Would be interesting to see how the AFC view his constant problems with concussion and if they factor that into their decision or not?

Michael Aish used to get constantly concussed much like Tippet and in the modern game would be stood down. If Tippet cops another concussion which is a very high possibility he could find himself struggling to overcome the condition, where each time your resistance to it becomes less and less.

To not sit down with your team mates and look them in the eyes and say "listen fellas , this is how it is ...etc ) and do it by a group text message is a disgrace and shows a lack of respect and integrity in someone.

This group of Adelaide players are building towards something very special I reckon, and you don't need individual personalities like that around to drag the team down.

On a side not, I've been very impressed with Dangerfield's words since news of Tippett's defection broke.

So what happens to Tippets career if he cops another Concussion? Especially when every player in the competition knows that is how to take him out of a game and dont kid yourself that if opposition players are aware of where you have an injury that they will avoid that area - and it does not have to be done by a direct hit to the head either....

Tippet has been told to give an answer to which club he wants to go to by Saturday afternoon or no deal will be done (source a Crows listed player)

That should bring things to a screaming halt!

Hasn't been signed yet. I still think there might be more to this deal yet.

Personally I reckon Adelaide would be mad not to at least use the whole trade period. The White & pick 22 offer is on the table and not going anywhere, they might as well use up the last week trying to engage 3rd parties to improve the deal. If they can't then sign off on it on the last day of the trade period.

Given Rucci's resorting to Big Footy and 5AA's 'Rumour Ralph' for stories, no one should take anything Rucci writes with any credibility these days anyway, so wouldn't be surprised if this deal is completely and utterly wrong.

Latest rumour is that it will now be a 3 way deal with Carlton

Adelaide get picks 11/22
Carlton get Parker and White
Sydney get Tippett

And Sydney have announced a press conference at 2:30pm, make of that what you will.
