Home grown players
Spelly do you keep stats on where players are recruited from and consequently how many or % of teams that are made up of local players??
Someone I know wants to know what is the highest % of "home grown" (from metro or country zone) players selected in a league side since 2000 or 1991?? In other words which club has had the lowest number of interstate recruits in a team for competition points??
Glenelg had 15 players that originated from their local zones on the weekend. Kirkby, Milne, Tenace, Rudolph, Curran and Davenport were the players from outside our zone.
Genuine question to see if is a frequent occurrence.
