Haven't read all the posts so it might've been covered. I'm guessing that the members' stand is already named and that the southern stand will again be the Bradman Stand although maybe the members should be named after Bradman. There should be a Chappell stand and I agree about the hill being named after David Hookes. I think that the eastern stand/s should be named The Oatey/Williams stand, Jack and Fos cover the most amount of clubs of anyone who deserves the honour and when you consider the continued input from the respective family members I think it's a given.

The Eastern stand would be the Chappell stand right in front of their grandfathers gates (Victor Richardson Gates).
How about statues of footballers around the ground from SANFL teams eg Malcom Blight or Fos Williams or Robarn.

I wonder if the gates will go back in the same style albeit further east.
They have had a facelift once already.

That's funny ... "particularly ones from interstate". They'd have less idea than we would about which way is North, South, East or West, being in a strange town and all. Unless the sun is rising or setting. Plus the idea that we need to adopt some alleged "trend" for the benefit of the dozen or so patrons that come annually from interstate.

Would have thought Adelaide is pretty easy.
Hills in the east easy to spot with the ocean to the west.
Can see that when they fly in or drive throught the hills.
There are a hell of lot more interstate fans than a dozen.
Reckon you'd get 1000+ of them depending on the team.
I don't think people are complete dunces when it comes to getting around in other capitals.
This idea of generic naming was explained to me as being to benefit interstate patrons.
