TFSA Tipping Competition

TFSA has started a SANFL Footy Tipping Competition.

Rules will be posted ASAP, but send your tips before the round starts by PM to:

Anyone missing Round 1 because of the late start can start at Round 2 with the average score from Round 1, if all agree.

I'd like to join the footy tips but not sure how to do a PM.

Average score is 3, so Rob B and anyone joining before Round 2 can start with 3.  Given that, I suggest that Redwine 63 can strat with 3 aLso, being the only one negatively affected by that?

I have a system in place for West games, to take the onus off me. However, in this case, I thought if we could get close to Port, with the team they fielded, we'd be doing well, and we did.

I also weighed up the Port team (who measured in at 3,990cms and 1.848 kgs Smile ), factored in the nice rest they would have had on Friday and thought they might have an edge.

I then rang a few of the West players, but they couldn't answer before 5pm, as they were still at work.

I checked the salary cap and found that more just one Port player's salary covered the whole West team, with plenty of change.

I'm not a betting man, but took Bayman's point that West being bookies favourites was, to put it politely, crap.

Taking all those factors into account, I selected Port.

Similarly, I used the same logic (?) to select Adelaide to beat Sturt.

As it turned out, the two games followed a similar last half pattern, where the home tems had good third quarters and were then blown away by the AFL teams' superior fitness in the last quarter.
