SEN SANFL membership ads
Firstly to me it’s a great initiative, however how lame can they get ?
The only one that is decent is the Norwood one that Jace Bode is in (incidentally for commentators out there he pronounced his surname as “Bodey”)
All the others are lame & I’d suggest the Central & North ones are the worst of them all
As I said great initiative but the script writer(s) were very ordinary & as a SANFL man they make me cringe

Hi Bayman ... yes I picked up the Bodey. Certainly from horses mouth so will use from here on.,
I actually think they are 2 different ads... one is fans talking about their respective SANFL clubs.... I suspect done by SANFL.
The other "Bodey" is a specific Norwood one with Redlegs theme song .. I think Norwood have organised it.

Yep, Norwood have two going & by far the Jace Bode one is far superior to any of the others & if you’re correct about that being a Norwood ad & the others are by the sanfl then those at the sanfl have no idea & they should get people in that have some idea

Does anyone listen to SEN?
I'm hearing it's been a bigger flop than their last attempt to enter the SA market.

I actually listen to it in part driving and listen to its podcast. Cornes and Hayes are actually quite good. I'm not a Cornes fan but he comes across well. Hayes has a bit of talent. The shows problem is that the radio band is not accessible to a lot of radios. The Vic content part of programming IMHO is poor. Competition is good to have in SA as the 5AA Rowey and Bicks is a stale format.
5AA Saturday show is what I consider a joke. KG surely is not getting paid for his efforts. Must be voluntary. No organisation would pay for his gibberish.

The very strong Port presence on SEN (Cornes, Rucci, Dwayne Russell) has put a lot of people off listening to it.
While the more competition sports radio has in SA the better - 5AA is stale and Triple M is too AFL focused, SEN have really missed the mark with their talent selection (especially as people need to make an effort to tune it). Personally, I'd rather continue to tune into SEN's Melbourne breakfast show than the local version.

Your a hard case, but I don't think they show a Port Bias. (Maybe Rucci). Like I said Andrew Hayes is great. I think he's a Port supporter and was a Centrals captain. As a Crow-boy, it is always good to have a non Crows perspective. Give the station a go if only to put pressure on the other Adelaide stations. I hate what's happened to Saturdays radio content with a geriatric presenters. I'm no spring chicken but Adelaide should do better than the 2 they have. As far as SANFL advertising I don't hear anything that excites me.

As for Andrew Hayes being a Port supporter, I actually think he was on their list at one stage, or was that Sydney? I haven’t noticed any biased one way or another & remember with sports stations that have talk back, they have to say something to get people to ring in & talk & that’s a big reason statements are made whether they really believe it themselves or not....
For the record Kane “Korn Daawwwg” Cornes has tipped the Crows to win the flag in the mainly Victorian based competition

My bad mistake. I thought I heard it mentioned. I will stick to my club. All I wanted to say was I think he is a good presence on the show.

Today I heard the WWTFC add on SEN. It was a fan describing the experience of being part of the WWTFC. I found it good.

Re: SEN SANFL membership ads
I listen to SEN, but have for years now. Usually I get the KC and AH morning show. Don't mind either of them, but sometimes it's just two mates talking. The other morning they had Lucy Cornes as a guest caller, Hayes singing, and the rest was just like two blokes sitting around talking (very little about footy). Last thing our radiowaves need is another boys club. Most other times they've been pretty good, so hopefully there's more of the good less of the ordinary.

Re: SEN SANFL membership ads
The ads are a little cheesy but better than nothing..
As for SEN SA, the breakfast duo spend too much time chit-chatting between themselves around random rubbish and Cornes rubs me the wrong way. Would rather listen to SEN Melbourne or TAB radio. The afternoon shift with Rucci and Aiston seems reasonable, have heard some SANFL content. I’m probably in the minority in that I don’t mind Rucci on radio.

Do the SANFL pay for these adds or individual clubs. Almost every time I hear one of recent its the Norwood (Jace Bode one).

Ok, they’ve got another one out promoting this weekend, it is almost perfect but for one word in one sentence......
This sentence says “smell the adrenaline” surely it should be “linament”
I’ve decided it is John Olsens’ fault
