Re: Eagles
Big Phil was seen at a pub in North Adelaide having breakfast with an Eagles official (of sorts) this morning ... could be something to it.

With all my issues I do actually pay attention ( dont tell my family )
I may not actually agree with your comments sometimes you are right well more often than not . I am in shock writing that.
Having cleared the air this season I did actually talk to a parent of a Victorian youngster playing in our seconds . That doesn't mean they went back and spoke to vfl players about how great the Eagles are. But could've paved the way so to say .

Re: Eagles
looks like the Eagles will have trouble securing Cam Sutcluffe as many clubs are after his services especially port power who are offering him the one elite professional position availiable on the AFL club lists (like Summerton last year).

Re: Eagles
The WWTFC is delighted to announce the signing of 2011 Premiership player Jimmy Toumpas.
Toumpas, a premiership player at just 17 years of age, returns to the Club after 6 years in the AFL system where he played 37 games for Melbourne and Port Adelaide. Jimmy, still just 24 years of age, will add plenty of class to the 2019 playing group.
On Jimmy’s signing CEO Luke Powell said “We are excited to have Jimmy, another Eagles junior product, return to our football club. Jimmy’s versatility will see him playing an important role through our midfield and defence that will complement our group. We see Jimmy as a great long-term player for us and a player who can provide great guidance and leadership to the playing list.
Jimmy, who has signed a two year deal said, “It’s great to be back at the Eagles my junior club and I can’t wait to get around my new teammates and play a role in our future success. It’s an exciting time with Sam as the new coach and I’m looking forward to getting things started.”
Jimmy will join teammates for the first night of preseason which will commence this Monday 26th November from 5:30pm at Eastern Parade Ottoway.
Please join the WWTFC in welcoming back Jimmy to the Club.

Eagles have got through the draft so far without any nasty surprises (unlike those of Centrals and South).

Re: Eagles
Jesse Lonergan (not re-drafted) looking a bit closer to becoming an Eagle. Is considering a chance to play for the Eagles but the requirement of a job is always a problem.
Same with Cam Sutcliffe, not redrafted, but the greedy claws of the magpies and a chance to lessen the strength of the opposition by offering a chance to become their marquee player is a huge obstacle for the Eagles to overcome.
Also, where will Pudney and Frederick play next season with no magpies in the reserves competition, they are not good enough to play league maybe Eagles Reserves?

My querry exactly over Pudney and Frederick. I recall Stengle now a crow playing for our seconds but in that academy.
Let's see what unfolds something maybe announced in the next week according to Bayman.

Mucky
There are 2 Stengles (brothers) In 2017, the more talented Academy one played for Port Seconds, the other played a few games in Eagles Seconds.

Thanks for that which one got drafted by Richmond then traded to the crows.
I remember stengle playing in our seconds . But didn't know there was a brother .
So I wonder what happens to our players now in that academy since Port are not in the reserves comp from 2019.

AS rookies Pudney and Frederick will play Magpies. They are not top up players. Personally that academy stinks.
