Good article and I have to agree with it. The sledging was over the top and looked crass.

some of it ''looked'' over the top, a ''little'' way over the top, but i think overall it was ok, most teams gave the verbal stuff & i'd think most would be funny & some belittling & if a player isn't religiously, politically or racially abused then there isn't much of a problem........if players looked laconic then we'd be hearing things like ''he's on $5 million per year & he doesn't look interested''
