Norwood looks the goods again.
Sturt were impressive at times last year and have lost a lot of experience. Some useful looking recruits but I think the legs have too much class and depth.

Re: Rnd 1 - Norwood v Sturt @ Coopers Stadium (Thur N 2/4)
i thought Norwood were in complete control all night & while Sturt tried hard they were never ever a chance to run over the top of Norwood as they had all the answers throughout the night.....................
i got out there relatively late (6.45) & i noticed two council vehicles patrolling the local area looking to book illegally parked vehicles, that's fine but i bet they wouldn't be patrolling if no events were on at Norwood oval which to me is revenue raising

No surprise that Norwood continue to be the mark for the competition, but it seems that Sturt weren't too far away also.
As has been the case for years now, the task for the other teams is to work out how to beat Norwood's system, as well as their ability.

There were 2 scoreboards next to other last night at Norwood Oval
The traditional one, manually operated
The additional one was an electronic one next to it

Why would they both putting two scoreboards side by side to each other? Seems rather bizarre, but then if they're going to put in a second scoreboard at Norwood it'll be difficult to find another suitable spot.

Think you just answered your own question. A different location would be good, although must admit it was good to be able to see a time clock from the hill.

I was told that during games that have TV coverage the big screen will show the coverage and replays which will be good. Does seem a little useless for normal games thoughBrucetiki wrote:Scrappy wrote:There were 2 scoreboards next to other last night at Norwood Oval

a few times through the night the manual scoreboard beat the electronic scoreboard in putting up the scores
