McLeod
Cross
Brooksby
That's how I see South's best three for the Knuckey Cup.
I have no idea how the votes are given for each match, I doubt it will be on a 3-2-1 basis.

Prowler - would AFL clubs take a look at Brooksby? I don't see him too often but when I do he always impresses.

Keegan impresses me with his ruckwork, but I think AFL clubs might worry about his kicking and around the ground skills?

Kicking goals from set shots Keegan has improved so much this year from previous years IMO

Brookers is still young enough to be improved upon with his kicking, his ground skills are improving, his ruck work is right up there with the best this state has to offer, he would slot 7 out of 10 shots at goal. His first kick in league football was a goal at Norwood oval from 45m and he is a big body. He would definitely be worthy of a club in need of a backup ruckman just waiting to get the chance. As long as he doesnt go to St Kilda or Western Bulldogs he would be a household name given the opportunity.

there are worse ruckmen than Brooksby on AFL lists, he is in career best form, personally i didn't rate him 2 or 3 years ago, but this year especially i'd say he's in the top 4 ruckmen in the competition

6th - Paul Thomas (193 votes)
5th - Luke Barmby (203 votes)
4th - Travis Schiller (229 votes)

Jarrod Schiller (286 votes)
Congratulations to all award winners, but particularly to Jarrod Schiller, who caps off a wonderful season in winning his first Norm Russell Medal.
The Nuriootpa native was our most consistent and courageous player all season and is thoroughly deserving of this recognition.
Congratulations to the young man that goes by the name 'Fish'.

Port Magpies club awards tonight.
They've just tweeted their thanks to Steve Summerton and said he'll get what he deserves soon.
I think they meant a premiership, but $100,000 in 2 years time is more certain.
Not bad for a top up player in the a SANFL.

My spies tell me that there are up to 5 players from South on the AFL radar......Brooksby definitely one. C Daniel of course, Fields, Gulden , Dale and McLeod. However I would think the stocks of 2 players would have diminished significantly after their abyssmal performances in the Prelim final.

2 out of 3 recruited this year, it shows Sturts' recruiting to be spot on
