Who Am I?

OK, I'm starting a quiz. The poster with the correct answer can do the next one.

I'll start with only one or two clues, then add to them if necessary until it's answered.

Let's do it without Google, just on our knowledge.




I was born in Colac, Victoria in the early 50's, played VFL, but made my way to a western suburbs club in Adelaide.

had i ever got to go on ''Sale of the Century'' & they got to the ''who am i'' question i would press the buzzer immediately & answer (Tony Barber or Glenn Ridge) depending on the host

yeah i thought later he had 3 SANFL teams, West. South & Glenelg & came over from Hawthorn

I stated with Essendon, then came to SA, west of the River, then went back to the VFL and oplayed in a premiership.

My SA team, in my very brief stint, no longer exists by itself.

Hmmm..... i think can picture a player but i can't remember his name, was his hair long and blondish? Played for West Torrens and then played with North Melbourne?

OK. I only spent 2 seasons at my SANFL Club, starting in the very late 70's, but created a huge impression in that time.

Ok..i think i've got one...
I played all of my SANFL career at one club (198 games)... from the late 70's to mid 80's, i am a life member of that club and i have won a Jack Oatey medal.

I played in 3 winning SANFL premierships, played 5 games for S.A...... i wasn't large body wise, but i could dish out a few reasonable shirt fronts.
