apart from me i'm sure Big Phil will be at some games, does anyone else go to the Baseball throughout the summer ?

it is a great night for the kids

i'll have to talk to a Baseball legend & former Bay reserves player & organise Big Phil & PhilH into one of those 'broom handle' races

Thiele is a big fan and attends regularly.

I attend most home games and absolutely love it. It is starting to rival cricket as my number 1 favourite sport during summer.

Thinking about travelling to Melbourne in January to see the series against the Aces.

I believe Adelaide will be ultra competitive along with Sydney and obviously the 2 time champions Perth (and they have won all ABL titles) Melb. Aces as well but good luck to the Adelaide Bite.

Funny that, I'm starting to feel the same.

I have been teaching the kids at school T-Ball and many have asked where can we play at club level and I had to disappoint them with the news that I had no idea, but you might get lucky in Hobart. Otherwise, I'll have to start promoting the Melbourne Aces or Adelaide Bite!

Perth were 7-0 up after the first innings & the game was basically over, about half way through the night the 'big screen' scoreboard which included the stats of balls, strikes & outs during innings went 'missing' a West Torrens stalwart i was talking too was embarrassed that they took this down because the Bite was losing, not a big crowd but an enjoyable evening........................the cost of entry is way too much in my book, it is $14.00 for an adult...$10.00 for concession & even more amazing it is $6.00 for kids

today is November 1 & the grand final score was still up on the football scoreboard so i'm sure BloodnTars & co wouldn't have been happy to read that when walking into the arena

Bite went down 13-3.

While our pitching depth is probably a little bit better than last year. Our hitting depth is certaintly weaker. Welch and the korean import will definitely help when they come into the side but I don't think it will be enough.

The Heat look odds on to take the championship again.

Much improved effort from the Bite tonight even though they lost 8-4. Some sloppy fielding from the Heat helped us while we were a bit sloppy in the last innings.

I think the experiment with Rinku Singh should end (only playing basebal because he won million dollar arm or something in India). Unfortunately he is a poor pitcher. Money could be better spent getting someone who has spent most of his life pitching.

Good crowd and another great night was had.
