SA tall forwards invited to Draft Combines

Tim O'Brien from Glenelg has been invited to the National Draft, the following have been invited to the State screenings:

Kaiden Brand (West Adelaide)
Ethan Gill (Glenelg)
Justin Hardy (Central Districts)
Brad Hartman (Sturt)
Tom Schott (West Adelaide)

Are you surprised as to his inclusion?

A little bit surprised.

Not through ability, he won the goalkicking with half a season in defence (well nearly), but I thought time had passed him by.

He's only 24 years old, so in right in the prime of his playing days, I reckon...

Not sure he is quick enough to be picked up but time will tell?

I don't see Hardy as a permanent forward fixture in the AFL but maybe as a swingman. He's worth a look as a mature age selection.

A swingman . ? Is that like a tough man but he's more sensitive ? Or is it that he played for glenelg ? Oops

Swingman is a player you can rotate from a key forward role to a defensive role.

He's always looked like an AFL player, but I don't think he's quite good enough.
