Puberty Blues
Did anyone watch this last night on Channel 10 at 8.30pm?
Fantastic adaption of the 1970's, the decor, scenery, references and setting is absolutely spot on. The language was exactly correct - kept laughing at many of the things said, remembering it from my own childhood.
Well worth watching for the nexx 7 weeks, and Channel 10 has already flagged the strong chance of a second series.

I watched it last night and quite enjoyed it. Even though I'm a child of the 80's many things in the show still made me quite nostalgic. Looking forward to next week's episode.

The scene of the fight on the bus made me laugh for a while. It captured the era perfectly in so many ways, with language and mannerisms.

So many good characters too. The little brother bailing up his old man with the sex talk while they were playing totem tennis cracked me up. "Why don't people talk about sex? Everybody does it. It's like eating"
The tennis club all going back to someones joint for a night of strip jack was pretty funny too.
They've got the period costumes, hair, houses etc spot on too, almost looks like it was filmed in the 70's.
Something that Howzat didn't do nearly as well IMO.
