After being behind at every break West run out winners , as F9 said.

West will get double chance and may surprise but I doubt it unless they play Norwood and they may have a chance.

What were your thoughts on Westies last night, Phil?

I thought their skills were a little rusty early days and Glenelg's attack on the footy was better. Obviously wasted opportunities early in front of the big sticks and Brad Fisher was simply leading too wide, for mine.

A better second half and a improved skill level. Chris Schmidt was sensational all night, I thought Crouch again showed class beyond his age and Rory Laird is another impressive youngster. After spending a few weeks in the 2's, Nat Caruso played well, particularly in the final term, kicking a couple of crucial goals.

Certainly proved to me that they are currently the 3rd best team in the competition and almost certainly booked themselves a Qualifying Final against the Bulldogs. Overall, a pretty entertaining game of footy in the end.
