To promote the site to all football followers, I posted a brief update on several Fans' Forums.

I will put something up on the Port and Eagles' forums soon, but I'd like to thank the South, West, Glenelg, Sturt and Central forums for allowing my post.

Unfortunately the post was removed from the Norwood forum, but that's the right of the Forum Admin, so no problem.

The same action was taken by The Roost, again no problem, but I seem to have been banned from that forum for doing so.

I'd like to thank those several new members who have registered in the last few days and welcome them to TFSA.

Gee that's a bit rough being banned for posting an introduction to this forum.

I am not sure this forum would want to attract some of The North forum on here though . Is there a connection between that site and another footy site ?

It's totally up to the Forum Admin if they have banned me for that, but it would have been nice to have been told.

Some of the posters on that Forum aren't representative of the many excellent North fans, several of whom have contributed so well here.

For sure but some aren't and you wouldn't want their contribution on here I wouldn't think.

Yes that is my point . Some on there wouldn't know how to if you go by some of their posts . But as you say , I am sure that is not a true representation .

I was speaking with a well respected North identity on Friday night and he said the Roost was an absolute disgrace so I assumed as much

The South forum is fantastic with a couple of great moderators there.

A small group of passionate supporters that stick together.

As Southee says by all means post on the SAFC forum! Love what you are doing to promote this site through Facebook and other mediums - as for the forums that delete the posts, - as this forum increases in numbers, does it occur to them that so might they? We are all here to promote the SANFL and I think we are probably doing more than the actual SANFL at times at getting new people interested and motivated to go along to games!

Just wondering when the West forum last had a new member? I tried to join, but Gmail addresses are not accepted. Then tried my rarely used iPrimus address and received a message to say the account had to be approved.

Still waiting a year later! Happy to be here though.

The problem is probably that the site is deluged with spambot registrations every day and our registration probvably was deleted in a batch of those.
