Parry Report

I had the binoculars on this incident and was amazed there was a report.

I might have missed something, but the ball carrier held his kick back until the last moment and was met front on by Parry an instant later - hardly a late challenge.

Unless I've missed something, it didn't seem a high hit, but I suppose any front on contact is now not allowed.

nothing in it in my book, it will be thrown out, but i was happy to get the free which as play progressed ended up with a goal for us, as for Kirkby's i thought firstly he should have tackled rather than bump, i didn't think there was much in that one although the Eagles player went of with the blood rule with a cut on the head

I didn't see the Parry report si I can't comment on it, but it seems over the past couple of seasons, I've seen some of the softest, weakest reports imaginable. Time for umpires to harden up.

R. Kirkby's report was thrown out, i'm sure C. Parry's will be as well

Well, the tribunal sat tonight - and was pretty busy !!! - with neither Kirkby or Parry's name mentioned on the SANFL site...

Both must have been thrown out by the IRP
