Tour de France Empty Tour de France

Not long to one of the great TV watching events of the year.

I've been a TdeF tragic for years and it's good to see Cadell Evans in form again.

Who else watches this and has it been a recent thing or have you been watching for years?

Tour de France Empty Re: Tour de France

It doesn't do anything for me r&b, apart from looking at the magnificent countryside. Cycling, motorcycle racing, car racing, horse racing - to me they're transport rather than sport.
Anyway, I'm sure all the Tour de France participants are flat out putting the finishing touches to their masking agents as we speak. Enjoy it though.

Understood, F9, but I think (drugs aside) that cycling demands more courage and tactics than most of the others you mention.

In motor racing, usually the best cars or bikes win and a great driver on a non-competitive car won't win.

I still think the high mountain stages of the Tour are compelling viewing.

IMO, a jockey demands more courage than a rider. They have to control a 500kg animal at the same time.

I do enjoy the TDF

My family have been keen cyclists for years and it is one of the events we have no issue staying up into the early hours of the morning to watch. Great stuff! Very Happy

A true sport of mental and physical toughness. The doubters can get on your bike!
