Norwood Footy Club Facebook post

Hi gang, first post on this site. Congrats to all involved. I thought I would share with you a post that NFC have placed on their Facebook site for your info. Great to see the club being proactive in this and hope that ALL footy supporters take something from it.


It has come to the clubs’ attention that there have been some abusive and threatening messages being posted on other SANFL pages. The Norwood Football Club appreciates all support; however when support for the Club becomes abusive or threatening of other players we cannot tolerate this. We would ask that all supporters of the Redlegs keep both the language and context of your posts at a family friendly tone, as children frequent these pages.

Yeah, good on Norwood for getting on the front foot and letting their fans know what is acceptable and what will not be tolerated. Good work and welcolme to the site Baldy.

That is good to see from Norwood, its a pity that the North Adelaide FC did not do something about the content of their own supporters forum which they choose to link to!
