2021 Magarey Medal
While there is a little way to go in the season, which players would be high up in contention to win this year? Will it be a first time winner or could a past victor repeat the feat?

From what Ive seen Tsitas from WWT will be the favourite.
South Adelaides 2nd best player- Gibbs not far away either.

Bryce Gibbs or Luke Partington from the games i've seen, i also think Sam Mayes would be the dark horse

I am not saying that he is going to win it again but I think that Campbell Combe has had an even better year than last year and he is better known now.
Last year late in the season I said to a friend of mine who is involved with coaching the umpires that if the umpires were fair dinkum Campbell Combe would win the medal.
He texted me after the Medal to brag that the Umpires as usual got it right.
The coaches award has Partington in front from Combe and Gibbs. If as I expect will happen, Combe gets maximum points from the coaches from yesterday's game and Partington doesn't poll because of injury Partington will be one vote in front of Combe with one match to go.
In the Digital Pass award Partington and Snook are level which I have no problem with but some of the voting in North games has been ludicrous. North have won games by 10 goals and not got many votes.
I think the coaches are around the mark with Partington just in front of Combe

My tip for WWT is Jack Hayes...a mobile ruckman/forward always in umpires' sight.

Most of our suggestions are matching the Coaches thoughts at the moment.
In the award that they choose, with two rounds to go the standings are as follows :
Partington 75
Combe 74
Gibbs 63
Tsitsas 58
Hayes 55
Snook 51
Sure, the coaches award is 5-4-3-2-1, but I think that they are close to the mark, certainly closer than the Digital Pass voters.

I hope you had money on your tips. Not a bad effort to get the two winners with three games to go.
