Rd 5 West v Central
West haven't won 2 games in a row very often in the last few years and this looms as one of our better chances. But Central are playing better than many of us expected and it wouldn't be a huge surprise for Bloods fans to have their spirit broken again.
By the way, this clanger from the SANFL site match preview:
"Ed Allan showed how serious he was about having a big campaign when he started the year by dominating Westies’ gruelling running tests and 2km time trial. He’s been in there getting heaps of the footy, with second-most disposals in the league (113), second-most handballs (63) while averaging six tackles per game."
Ed has played just the one League game this year, last week against Norwood. And as good as he was, I don't believe he got 113 disposals. Does anyone at the SANFL watch the games, or even look at their own match statistics before writing these things up?
