Fevola scored seven goals for Yarrawonga against Lavington in the Ovens and Murray League on Sunday. He was also reported and spent 15 minutes in the sin bin.
The attendance was estimated at 8000, which is pretty good considering the population of Yarrawonga is 6000.
Can't help but think a SANFL club should have picked up Fevola. I understand though that he would have only flown in for matches and that wasn't acceptable to clubs, which is fair enough.
Fevola is only contracted to play home games for Yarrawonga. Some rival clubs are reportedly offering to pay him to play away games, simply to boost the gate and bar takings.

My club looked at Fevola ... for about 15 seconds, that was long enough for Bassett to say "No f@%*ing way". Nobody wants to coach Fevola, simple as that.
